Celebrating New Years Eve With Kids [Round-up]

nyepin

Celebrating New Years Eve with kids doesn’t have to suck. Seriously, I have been doing it for a few years now and I’m pretty sure it’s more fun than any booze-fueled, expensive night out with friends. “Oh but I don’t need alcohol to have a good time on NYE.” — I’m calling bull roar on that. Chances are you’re just stuck being the DD. A very important job, but not the most exciting. Stay in, kick up your feet and get your party-on with your Littles instead!

I have rounded up 10 excellent articles, filled with a TON of ideas to party-rock your way into 2015 as a family.

P.S. Don’t feel bad for doing your countdown at 10pm.. we’ve all done it, and I know you’re thinking it. No judgement here 😉

  1. This is a great roundup! We usually go out with friends (and kids) and then back to someone’s house. As our kids get older, it makes it easier than when they were babies. Have a great New Years!

  2. Eep! Awesome round-up! Thanks so much. NYE has always been my least favorite holiday, but I’m actually loving it more as a mom. Family ideas like this make it so much better! Looking forward to when my toddler is a bit older to party rock with us haha.

  3. I totally agree! It was always an expensive disaster when I was younger LOL Now I love staying home with the Littles! Happy New Year!

  4. Aw that is awesome! I’m excited for when we can all go to a friends house as a family. Most of my friends are in their twenties so their events aren’t exactly kid friendly, but they are bound to settle down one day 😉 Happy New Year to you as well!

  5. Well thanks for all of these awesome ideas! I like that balloon countdown. I have nothing planned so I will check out some of these activities.
